[sws_toggle3 title="How long will a pendant last?"] Like any chewable item, Kid Companions will eventually wear due to daily use. Discarding and replacing the item is suggested. Average use is 6-12 weeks or longer if used as a fidget or as an addition to other chewables. Pendants will be damaged sooner with aggressive chewing or if an individual chews selectively (on certain spots). We aimed at making a product that is non-toxic, durable but that can’t damage teeth. Recommended for ages 3+

"] We have designed the Kid Companions chewelry with safety and efficiency in mind. The breakaway clasp was designed to lay comfortably and is made with the same non-toxic materials as the hardest part of the pendant itself. This clasp is not intended for chewing. The fidget clip is made from very hard plastic that is more durable if bitten, but it is also not meant to be chewed. In the event your child does damage the clasp, replacement lanyards can be bought separately without having to buy a new pendant as well.

"] Kid Companions pendants are made with medical grade thermoplastic polymers. Our product conforms to safety standards around the world and we hold a CPSIA 3rd party testing certificated. Though it may be more effective to wash the lanyard and pendant separately, it is not necessary. You may wash by hand with soap and water or place on top rack of dishwasher.
